DKA promotes Passport to CT Wine Country.

Passport to CT Wine Country is a program of the CT Farm Wine Development Council, which is administered by the CT Department of Agriculture to market licensed farm wineries wishing to participate. The Passport program is designed to motivate visits to participating CT wineries and collect a “stamp” at each one to be eligible to win prizes from other CT tourism destinations in a semi-annual random drawing. Stamps are collected either digitally on the CT Wine Passport app or physically in CT Wine Passport booklets designed and published by DKA. During the peak visitation period, spring through fall, DKA created and placed a statewide digital advertising campaign to drive visits to the wineries, to download the app, and to visit the CTFarmWineries social media pages and CTWineCountry.com website. The ad campaign included social media and mobile geofencing, which measured actual visits to participating wineries. DKA also designed the e-newsletter sent to registered app users, managed prize fulfillment for the Passport program, and conducted an online survey to benchmark program awareness, participation and wine purchases.
