DKA builds campaigns and audiences for Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
When the HSO decided to outsource its marketing and press in 2008, it presented some serious challenges. Subscription and fundraising campaigns were behind schedule, while the economy sputtered and consumer spending sank.
During our first year working with the HSO, direct mail and advertising campaigns developed by DKA increased subscription sales by 10%, and single tickets sold per concert increased by almost three-fold. Individual giving also increased in both numbers of donors and values of gifts. The HSO recognized DKA with the Outstanding Business Partner award at its 2009 annual meeting.
Working under the direction of the HSO’s Marketing & Public Relations Manager, DKA continues to provide creative, website, media, public relations and project management services to support HSO staff efforts and drive revenues.
