Panera’s partnership with the ESPN basketball analyst and former UConn and WNBA star kicked off in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Pink Ribbon Bagel campaign. This is the second year for the partnership and Panera’s 13th year running the Pink Ribbon Bagel campaign.
Panera franchise-owner Howley Bread Group is donating 25 cents from each Pink Ribbon Bagel purchased to the CT Sports Foundation, which provides funds to families battling cancer to help them pay their household bills during treatment. DKA managed public relations and designed the point-of-purchase materials, including a life-size banner (Rebecca is 6’ 4”!) in each Panera/HBG bakery-café.
